The Orchestre symphonique de Laval presents its 3rd annual Festival classique hivernal (Winter Classical Festival). A festival with a varied repertoire, suitable for all generations, featuring music from the films Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, the great classics by Strauss and Wagner, the musical tale Peter and the Wolf, and song and dance in Stravinsky’s Pulcinella.

The 11th iteration of The Royal Conservatory’s 21C Music Festival kicks off in January 2024 with Turkish pianist Fazıl Say performing his own works for solo piano, voice, and chamber ensemble. Grammy Award-winners Brad Mehldau, Laurie Anderson, and Kronos Quartet return to Koerner Hall, violin phenomenon Lara St. John performs solo pieces composed by 12 leading composers, and virtuoso harpist Bridget Kibbey brings Edgar Allen Poe’s Masque of the Red Death to life with the help of the Calidore String Quartet and narrator Mervon Mehta.
