Hailed as one of the most exciting young organists of the day, Dallas-born Alcee Chriss III was the 2017 winner of Bach Prize as well as First Prize in the Canadian International Organ Competition. Currently Artist in Residence at Wesleyan University (Connecticut), he is known for infusing his performances with gospel and contemporary inspirations. His Davis Concert Organ debut is slated to feature music by Bach, Dupré, and Reger, and is sure to include some delightful surprises as well.
