Gentileschi Baroque Ensemble is a dynamic period instrument ensemble dedicated to uncovering and performing the extraordinary music of women composers from the Baroque era. Echo Chamber presents Five Postcards from Canada, a vivid musical journey across the country through works by leading Canadian composers Marjan Mozetich, Carmen Braden, Derek Charke, Alice Ho, and James Rolfe. Each piece offers a distinct sonic “postcard,” reflecting the diverse landscapes, cultures, and artistic voices that shape Canada’s musical identity. Taking place in the Aperture Room, a light filled space on the top floor of a beautifully restored building just north of Yonge and Dundas Square, each COSE event will be as much a social gathering as it will be an opportunity for musical discovery.
