According to a tradition now well established for 8 years, it is the return of the biannual presentation of Haendel’s Messiah in Repentigny. This timeless work, composed only in 24 days by Georg Friedrich Haendel, has captivated the public and music lovers since its very first creation in April 1742 and continues to be played annually all over the world. This key work of the holiday season will be played on period instruments by l’Harmonie des saisons. You will therefore experience a magnificent performance that will transport you to the 18th century, with conductor Eric Milnes conducting musicians and singers directly from the harpsichord, as Handel did in his time!
