Les Printemps Slaves present its 2026 edition from May 12 to June 1 under the theme of the Belle Époque. The opening concert on May 12 at the Centre culturel NDG will be offered free of charge. On May 13, the silent film Life for Life (1916) by Evgeni Bauer will be screened with live improvisation by pianist Guillaume Martineau. Subsequent events will take place at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal: on May 27, Myths and Visions with Irina Krasnyanskaya and Jean-Fabien Schneider; on May 30, The Belle Époque of the Cello with Stéphane Tétreault and Chloé Dumoulin; and on June 1, a tribute to Rachmaninoff by Orchestre Nouvelle Génération featuring Matt Herskowitz. Each concert will be preceded by a talk by Ekaterina Baginskaya.
