The Honens International Piano Competition awards the largest prize of its kind—$100,000 CAD and an Artist Development Program valued at a half-million dollars. Finals Sessions are preceded by pre-concert chats at 6:30 pm featuring Honens’ Artistic Director Jon Kimura Parker. On the first of two nights of Finals, the three Finalists perform a quintet with the Azahar Ensmble.
