In 2004, 150 years after its creation in La Fenice, La Traviata was used to reopen this prestigious theater destroyed by arson in 1996.
An exceptional cast, including baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky, who marked the role of Germont father with his interpretation, as well as the staging by Robert Carsen, created an event.
