Opening concert of the 2026 Festival
Founded at Orford Music two decades ago, the Orford Six Pianos ensemble will celebrate its rich journey with a program brimming with energy and virtuosity. From Gardel’s irresistible tango Por una cabeza to charming excerpts from Rota’s La Strada, through Offenbach’s Can-Can and the captivating rhythms of Márquez’s Danzón No. 2, the six pianists are sure to dazzle you!
You will also hear works by Prokofiev, Bernstein, and Khachaturian, adding depth and brilliance to this opening night of the 2026 Festival. The ensemble’s remarkable chemistry will leave you speechless!
