A prominent figure at the Orford Music Academy for over 30 years, flutist Robert Langevin will reunite with pianist Mariane Patenaude, a longtime collaborator of the Academy for more than 20 years, for a concert marked by rare finesse.

Together, they will bring the spirit of the Belle Époque to life through a repertoire rich in French colors. Among the highlights, Francis Poulenc’s Flute and Piano Sonata will captivate with its liveliness and charm, blending lightness and depth. The luminous Sonatine by Maurice Ravel, in a flute and piano arrangement, will stand out for its clear elegance. You will also hear Mel Bonis’ F-sharp minor Sonata, arranged by Robert Langevin, revealing expressive richness and unique sensitivity.

Guided by the close artistic rapport of two musicians deeply connected to Orford Music, this concert promises to be a highlight not to be missed.
