D\u2019apr\u00e8s cet enregistrement, elle a une voix l\u00e9g\u00e8re et s\u00e9duisante et une personnalit\u00e9 gagnante. Ce qui rend ce disque exceptionnel, c\u2019est la fra\u00eecheur du programme. Chaque air a un lien avec le Moyen-Orient, \u00e0 commencer par le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre <i>Sh\u00e9h\u00e9razade<\/i> de Ravel. Mais elle a une touche originale. Elle est chant\u00e9e avec un accompagnement au piano, mais avec une fl\u00fbte longitudinale du Moyen-Orient appel\u00e9e un ney, ajout\u00e9e dans la deuxi\u00e8me m\u00e9lodie (<i>La Fl\u00fbte enchant\u00e9e<\/i>).<\/p>\n<p>Le programme se poursuit avec des airs des compositeurs espagnols Manuel de Falla, Jos\u00e9 Serrano et Fernando Obradors, mais avec accompagnement de guitare. Viennent ensuite quelques chansons peu connues avec des liens arabes par des compositeurs comme Berlioz et Bizet. Plus tard, nous avons le premier enregistrement d\u2019<i>Ana Bent El Sultan<\/i> de Gamal Abdel-Rahim (1924-1988), peut-\u00eatre la premi\u00e8re composition \u00e9gyptienne de type m\u00e9lodie.
