{"id":1113861,"date":"2026-04-03T08:00:36","date_gmt":"2026-04-03T12:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/myscena.org\/?p=1113861"},"modified":"2026-04-06T14:02:45","modified_gmt":"2026-04-06T18:02:45","slug":"jordi-savall-tracing-the-history-of-the-new-world-through-music","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aap5.myscena.org\/fr\/justin-bernard\/jordi-savall-tracing-the-history-of-the-new-world-through-music\/","title":{"rendered":"Jordi Savall : Retracer l\u2019histoire du Nouveau Monde en musique"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-drop-cap has-medium-font-size\">En 2022, Jordi Savall s\u2019\u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 exprim\u00e9 dans les colonnes de La Scena Musicale \u00e0 propos d\u2019une tourn\u00e9e nord-am\u00e9ricaine qui l\u2019avait men\u00e9 \u00e0 Ottawa d\u2019abord, puis \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al avec son ensemble Hesp\u00e8rion XXI. \u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, son r\u00e9pertoire gravitait autour de l\u2019\u00e2ge d\u2019or de la musique de consort, une p\u00e9riode qui s\u2019\u00e9tale du XVIe au XVIIe si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n<p>Cette ann\u00e9e marque le 85e anniversaire de cet illustre gambiste et chef d\u2019orchestre, sp\u00e9cialiste de la musique ancienne et d\u00e9nicheur de perles rares. Malgr\u00e9 son \u00e2ge avanc\u00e9, il d\u00e9montre une passion toujours aussi vive pour la recherche et l\u2019inconnu. De fait, Jordi Savall entra\u00eene derri\u00e8re lui non seulement ses ensembles, mais une \u00e9quipe de chercheurs pour l\u2019aider dans sa qu\u00eate. \u00ab\u00a0J\u2019ai toujours eu cet int\u00e9r\u00eat. J\u2019ai trouv\u00e9 tant de belles musiques compl\u00e8tement oubli\u00e9es. Les contraintes de visas pour entrer sur le territoire am\u00e9ricain se sont accrues depuis la seconde administration Trump, ce qui l\u2019oblige malheureusement \u00e0 revoir ses plans. Ainsi, Jordi Savall a choisi de revenir au r\u00e9pertoire europ\u00e9en du Moyen-\u00c2ge et du d\u00e9but de la Renaissance pour mieux guider le public vers des musiques issues aujourd\u2019hui d\u2019un patrimoine culturel mondial.<\/p>\n<p>Le concert s\u2019ouvre sur une pi\u00e8ce d\u2019un d\u00e9nomm\u00e9 Marcabru (1110-1150), \u00ab\u00a0un des premiers troubadours, dont le chant incarne l\u2019esprit des croisades, explique-t-il dans un communiqu\u00e9. Cette spiritualit\u00e9 europ\u00e9enne \u00e9volue vers la polyphonie de Josquin des Pr\u00e9s, o\u00f9 l\u2019appel \u00e0 la paix (Dona Nobis Pacem) contraste avec le r\u00e9alisme des &#8220;batailles&#8221; musicales de Mateo Flecha ou de Pierre Attaingnant, qui imitent les bruits de la guerre avec une grande richesse rythmique.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Dans un deuxi\u00e8me temps, Jordi Sall jouera des \u0153uvres certes \u00e9crites par des Blancs, mais qui, selon ses termes, \u00ab\u00a0s\u2019inspiraient des f\u00eates populaires et exprimaient l\u2019identit\u00e9 des m\u00e9tis et des esclaves\u00a0\u00bb. En effet, une large partie du programme sera consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 des musiques traditionnelles de divers peuples opprim\u00e9s, y compris des <i>spirituals <\/i>et des pri\u00e8res s\u00e9farades.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, l\u2019artiste et ses compatriotes catalans feront d\u00e9couvrir un autre pan m\u00e9connu du r\u00e9pertoire extraoccidental, mais n\u00e9anmoins colonial, \u00e0 savoir la musique folklorique p\u00e9ruvienne telle qu\u2019elle nous est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e dans un recueil appel\u00e9 <i>Codex Trujillo<\/i> (fin du XVIIIe si\u00e8cle).<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 n\u2019en pas douter, Jordi Savall offrira \u00e0 la Maison symphonique de Montr\u00e9al, le 18 avril prochain, un moment d\u2019humanit\u00e9 et de fraternit\u00e9 qui correspond \u00e0 ses valeurs profondes
