Professeur \u00e0 l&#8217;Acad\u00e9mie Franz Liszt depuis 1908, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Bart\u00f3k et Kod\u00e1ly, il partageait la fascination de ses coll\u00e8gues pour la musique folklorique, mais pas leur modernisme. L&#8217;univers de Weiner appartenait \u00e0 Brahms et Liszt, son orchestration aux ann\u00e9es 1890.<\/p>\n<p>Son premier concerto pour violon est un d\u00e9lice : Bruch sans la grande m\u00e9lodie, mais avec un entrelacement entre soliste et orchestre et beaucoup de l\u00e2cher-prise dans les danses tsiganes. Il s\u2019agirait ici de la premi\u00e8re interpr\u00e9tation compl\u00e8te de l&#8217;\u0153uvre, et aucune des 25 minutes ne semble superflue. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.juliapusker.com\/\">J\u00falia Pusker<\/a> est la soliste discr\u00e8te; Val\u00e9ria Cs\u00e1nyi dirige l&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/mavzenekar.hu\/en\/\">Orchestre symphonique M\u00c1V de Budapest<\/a>. Weiner, qui poss\u00e9dait une biblioth\u00e8que remplie de m\u00e9lodies indig\u00e8nes, resta du bon c\u00f4t\u00e9 du r\u00e9gime oppressif. Il ne cherchait pas \u00e0 faire passer un message, d&#8217;une mani\u00e8re ou d&#8217;une autre, et sa musique \u00e9tait toujours agr\u00e9able. Dans ses aspects les moins subtils, elle ressemble aux airs jou\u00e9s par les groupes tsiganes dans les restaurants touristiques de Budapest, sensuelle et s\u00e9duisante.<\/p>\n<p>Georg Solti, son \u00e9l\u00e8ve vedette de l&#8217;avant-guerre, parlait de lui avec une affection sans r\u00e9serve. Le dernier enregistrement de Solti contenait un ensemble de variations en hommage \u00e0 Weiner. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.naxos.com\/FeaturePages\/Details\/?id=Le%C3%B3_Weiner__Violin_Concerto_No_1\">Naxos<\/a> a bien fait de r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer ces partitions.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Traduction: A.
